First, the front desk staff at Hotel Barocco was amazing! They greeted us upon arrival and departure everyday, they were friendly and so helpful with giving us directions, making sure our needs were met, providing us with reservations for morning breakfast and airport shuttle. I will definitely make this hotel part of my travel plans in the future. The hotel was absolutely adorable and cozy. The hotel was nestled in the perfect place right across the street from a beautiful Bernini fountain and our room (room number 42) even had a view of this fountain. Our room was small but don't let that fool you as it was spacious in many ways! Lots of closet space as there were two full size closets and one with a safe and mini bar. The room had a bathroom that went upstairs! That I really like as it added character and charm that you would only expect to find in Italy. The bathroom was beautiful and spacious, even had a towel heater! Other things the room had that made the stay perfect was a balcony with two separate doors that looked over a small charming alley but had a full view of the Bernini fountain. In the morning we had breakfast that was top notch! They started the morning breakfast with a three tiered service of pastries and cakes, meats and cheeses and fruits. Then you enjoyed your cappuccino or coffee will waited for your yummy breakfast of your choice from many selections. This hotel also has a bar that has the friendliest staff ever! We absolutely loved Marco! He made our stay so amazing as he was personable and kind. We talked with him while he made amazing drinks for us and shared stories. He is a lovely person! The cleaning staff was exceptional and did a fabulous job to make sure our room looked like the first day everyday! If you visit Rome and want to see all the sights within walking distance to the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, shopping (out of this world), historic sights then you will not be disappointed. Thank you Hotel Barroco!

Our stay at Hotel Barocco was absolutely wonderful! I quite literally cannot fault it from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful and really should be 5 stars. It’s beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean & has all the amenities you could want from a city break hotel. The staff at Hotel Barocco were absolutely lovely and truly went the extra mile - from the reception staff who upgraded our room to a junior suite (as we were there celebrating my husband’s 40th), to the housekeeping staff who left my husband little birthday gifts each day, to the breakfast staff who were attentive without being over baring, to the fantastic barman Giancarlos (my apologies if I’ve missed-spelt his name) who was the perfect host in the bar and made a special effort to understand our likes and dislikes (& not being phased at all by my sulphites allergy which can be very difficult to navigate). He even created me cocktails to try based on what he’d enquired about that I liked and has now led me to discovering my favourite cocktail! The room itself was lovely, very spacious for a Rome hotel room with large corner bath and large shower and ample wardrobe space. There were plenty of spare pillows and towels and although we didn’t need to, I felt absolutely comfortable that if we’d needed anything we could have asked for it and it wouldn’t have been a problem. The hotel is perfectly located for seeing the major sights; a 6 minute walk to the Trevi fountain and surrounded my many bars and restaurants without being noisy in the rooms (due to two sets of double glazing!). We are already planning our next trip back to Rome and will 100% be staying at hotel Barocco again. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Our stay at Hotel Barocco was absolutely incredible! I came to Rome with my 13 years old daughter for 4 nights. The location is perfect - close to the centre, close to the train and bus, great restaurants around and the Pizazza is beautiful. The hotel stuff was so nice, polite, always smiling and very helpful! Fabio Florentina Lisa Alessandro Fabrizio & Daniele - thank you so much :) They gave us a WhatsUp number and it was very convenient to communicate with them at any time. They always answer quickly and were super nice. The room was very clean and absolutely beautiful! Clean white sheets and puffy bathtub robes. When we arrived they offered an upgrade to the Junior Suit for a convenient amount of money and we were glad to accept it. Breakfast was served at the dining room and all ingredients were fresh and tasty. the stuff Stefano Maricarr Elisabetta Giulia and Eduard Gianluca were very professional and kind. We will defiantly come back and stay at this charming hotel!

From arrival until departure our stay at this boutique hotel was exceptional. The front staff, concierge was thoroughly informative and accommodating. They answered our many questions and suggested a good local restaurant we enjoyed twice. We had a scheduling conflict and asked if someone could pick up our Papal audience tickets, which they did! The breakfast host was wonderful, fun and tolerated our attempt at Italian and of course the breakfast itself was terrific. The bar was cozy and the barman charming. Of course, our room was always perfectly made up when we returned from a long day of seeing the city...and we found the beds to be ultra comfortable. Our lovely room had a balcony that overlooked the street and we had a view of a magnificent Bernini fountain in the piazza. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Our stay was magical. The front desk staff were so welcoming every time we can back to the hotel. Answered our questions cheerfully. The breakfast is outstanding and the staff there so accommodating, efficient and caring. Our room was small (by US standards but to be expected in EU) but well appointed and comfortable. The A/C worked great and good insulation to keep everything quiet. The housecleaning staff kept everything super clean and stocked. Location is wonderful - we walked to everything. The subway is less than one block for those who need that. We are returning to Rome in January and I would love to stay again but it's sold out for our time. No wonder because it's a superior place!
